The unique qualities of the location nowadays presided by the Molí del Salt (“Mill of the Spring”, in English) are reflected in its 11.000 years of history, as borne witness be the excavations at the homonymous archaeological bed close by.
This region, dominated by the mountain range that delimits the Poblet Natural Park with its abundant wildlife, combines the serenity of forests and vineyards, rich, to this day, in Roman presence and the medieval splendours of the Cister monastic order.
The Molí del Salt seems willing to tell us something of all this. Though the present building is dated to the XVIII century, its reflection on the millpond waters is bottomless. Considered as a whole, building and surrounding landscape are of a unique beauty and quietness, making a stay in any of its comfortable apartments an unforgettable experience.
